This island has absolute tropical weather with only two seasons during one year, wet/rainy season from October until March and dry season from April until September. The average temperature is between 23 to 33 degree celsius which is favorable for most peoples on the globe.
Lombok has a unique culture from its indigenious people, Sasak tribe with their local traditional customs, music and language differing them with other Indonesian counterparts. Traditional ritual, wedding carnaval, and is almost everyday sightseeing throughout the island, and also annual Bau Nyale festival is a huge ceremonial for the whole island people at the end of February.

When you are more advanced, Seger, Mawi, and Serangan breaks are the best while Dessert Point is for highly pro surfers.

The best thing about Lombok is, you can surf everyday all year around. Some breaks like Seger and Areguling are working the best during the wet/rainy season. The time of surfing always changes everyday depending on the tide. Normally, when the tide is changing between the low tide to high tide or high tide to low tide then it’s the best time. This natural process forms favorable current to make waves more hollow and constant.
